Publisher Square Enix has formally announced a release date for the DS edition of its celebrated SNES RPG classic Chrono Trigger, slated for release in America on November 28.

In addition to new dungeons built specifically for the game’s Nintendo DS appearance, Square Enix revealed that the game will include an Arena mode, which “adds exciting new dimensions” to the classic RPG. No further details were immediately available.

The company had previously revealed that Chrono Trigger DS would include some form of wireless multiplayer, though it is not yet clear whether the Arena mode will serve as the promised multiplayer component.
